Robert enjoys guiding in London and provides entertaining and informative walks on subjects such as how the City came to be a global commercial centre, great men and women who have left their mark, its development from Roman London and life by the River.
Robert started his business career qualifying as a chartered accountant. He first worked in a Georgian cul-de-sac at the back of a Hall of a City Livery Company. Whilst his financial career took him to many places, it was to the City of London that he was always pleased to return. He believes that nothing beats the Square Mile for its vibrancy, history and architecture.
Robert is a qualified City of London Guide and City of Westminster Guide, a Friend of The City Churches and has the Freedom of the City of London.
